				all hail joyrides

So my friend's friend is letting him look after this 97 civic that he trade his teggy for. Let me start this off by letting you all know this civic is a PEICE and I lie to you not. this car is 4 different colors, primered Z3 fenders, white trunk, a white stock bumper (which is now ziptied on the chassis), APC JDM corners, no sideskirts (were blackwidow kit skirts, he sold them), a primered blackwidow front bumper, passenger lock ripped out, bubbled tint, a ripoff of a Fireball exhaust (sounds decent), and it is completely gutted, plus the two seats that are in are not bolted down. The engine is nice though is what the weird thing is, port and polish, CAI, upper strut bar, fuel rail, DC headers, and a custom straight pipe from the headers, but things were sacrificed to make it quicker such as the previoius owner took out the air conditioner, airbags, and even the powered steering. My friend tells me that he has custody to this vehicle for a few weeks so I go over and what else do we do...you guessed it we take it for a spin. again the seats are not bolted down so we had to somehow wedge them into place, but still whiel driving it you would slide back and forth inside the car which was funny as hell. Suprise to us though this thing is quick as hell, with a manual transmission, it hauls all ass. The exhaust is so loud you have to yell to talk to the other person next to you which is just horrible and annoying. oh did I mention that the license plate that graces the car is off a trailer and we dont have the title to the car..so if we get pulled over we are basically screwed....but its all in the name of good fun with a highpowered POS

again I need to add a disclaimer I really know close to nothing about Civics year wise and as the compression is I assume he was doing it right, his dad lives with engines so knows his sh!t, I will check back with him, but anyways my friend sold the car for $1,300. It was funny because we couldn't get the trunk to close for about 15 minutes with them there, and the left corner wasn't hooked in. these guys didn't know anything about anything though, so it was fun.

my friend told them that the trunk was a genuine OEM part, trying to make it sound all nice and what not. the car would've been a nice little project car (thats agreed), my friend and I were thinking about buying it half half and working on it, but that would need insurance and that's money us 17 yr olds don't have to waste, so bye bye civy I'm gonna miss the joyrides |
