Man, i am thinking about asking my girl the big question but I need to know where to get a ring that won't cost me my legs. How much is a good price to spend on an ENGAGEMENT ring? I've heard that you're supposed to spend more on the actuall WEDDING BAND. What do I do

And where can I get a good ring. I'm willing to spend about $1500 for an engagement ring?? Where should I go?
