Anyone watch Nascar? I do sometimes(mostly for the crashes). Anybody got suggestions on who you think has the best chance of winning the championship??

i am hoping for benson, liked him from day one with no sponsors or local hero blaney. he owns a dirt track 30 minutes from my house. he is a very nice guy that would do anything for you.

i dont really know why, but my uncle really likes johnny benson, he sucks seeing how hes only won one race and hes been driving in nascar for a really long time.

I watch NASCAR, and yes at times it can get boring, but thats when you start eating sunflower seeds or doing something else to occupy yourself... I'm a Mark Martin fan, and seeing hum finish runner-up in the championship six times now Im getting frustrated, and think, as always, that he has a good shot at it this year with more team experience... I sometimes watch WRC, but there is little technical aspect involved in watching it, so it gets old... Cart is cool when they are in a city... I think watching midget cars and sprint cars is the coolest though

but I really don't see the enjoyment in seeing someone drive around an oval all day. Now WRC on the other hand... now that's racing.

You should watch the drivers faces sometimes, they dont blink for like a minute.

ummmmmm can i tell you something??????? no he hasnt been driving nascar winston cup for long, last year was his first year and his first 2 races he raced without one sponsor! have any clue what it costs to race? yes he has raced teh nascar sanctioning for years before but its a very diffeent field of cars and drivers! very different!

are you talking tome about johnny benson?? becaue he's been in the winston cup for a while now...he had lycos as a sponsor for a while there..

yea highlander...mark martin has a pretty good chance this year....along with earnhardt jr and tony stewart....

it might be 2 seasons now.........but i do know lycos was his very first sponsor. and yes i am talking about benson.

benson was rookie in NWC 1996 w/ cherrios as sponsor
matt kenseth had lycos as his sponsor in the busch series

yeah- he had no sponsor at the beginning of last season, he was dropped because he sucks... he did well at Daytona so valvoline, who dropped Mark Martin because they werent willing to pay him the big money his superstar status required, acquired him as their new driver... starting to make sense yet?

see...i knew he has been in nascar for a while now..she just doesnt know what shes talking about...i knew benson had a sponsor before lycos..but i coudnt remember who it was...
