Yes! New 911 Turbo
Sexy as hell! Only thing I can complain about, is the 'sport' setting should have a little more boost love to give than what it does...maybe 3.5-5.5psi more |

Well the last topped out at 150, right? I think so...

That's pretty damn nice. The problem with those uber expensive exotics is that they're not in any way intended to be modded. I don't know if I could have a car that was THAT well built and not try and squeeze more out of it. Those crazy ass Germans...always with the nice cars.

I still like the Carrera GT compared to the 911 Turbo.

Pdiggs:
I think the sport mode DOES give it more power... I was reading something about it boosting the HP for like 20sec bursts or something. I'll recheck the article. AZ: Price in Car&Driver was like 155k NOT BAD for what it is again I'll double check GT: That thing is BEGGING to be modded... I knew a guy who's uncle owned an auto insurance company (decently big regional job) and he had a slant nose with 1100 hp. it was DISGUISTING FAST. and he drove it around all the time... it was def. streetable... now I didn't know much about cars back then so I don't know if that was 1100 daily or tuned up it may have been de-tuned for the street but it was stil unreal fast. There are TONS of parts available for those cars. You coule seriously double the price of it in mods. Gone: I'd like both... lol... the GT is DEFINATELY the racer of the 2 but the turbo is like an M3 snorting crystal meth while smoking crack. All the luxury and ALL the power you could want... In general: So it's got like 50hp more than the last generation and weighs near 100lbs less... 0-60 in like 3.6 or something top speed of 197 (last one was ~187 but car&driver said they exceeded that manufacturer listed top speed in their test car so they figure this one will break 200).

lol... I think it is like 50hp over stock... that's pretty good for a factory feature...
They're not going to toss on enough power to degrade the longevity of their car.

155k$ ? thats not bad at all.
there's a guy I used to work with who took an n/a convertible 911 and had a turbo kit thrown on, that thing took off like a rocket. it was an auto so it was literally like a rocket, kinda slow at first then bam it was gone. sounded like a jet fighter. |
