I hate being SICK!
I have had a sore throat off and on for 3 weeks! It gets to the point where I can't even swallow (or it feels like I can't) Last night I skipped my Bio class so I could go to the ER I just couldn't take it anymore I waited for ever and a half thinking I would get in sooner because I work there (yeah that definitely didn't happen).... when the doctor came into the room she should me what might be happening something like my esophagus might be getting narrow or something like that so I have to go to Pittsburg for some kind of test I don't remember the exact name of the procedure…. O well I just feel shitty and wanted to vent some of this crap….
Has anyone else felt like crap this winter…

I was like that for a few days, would wake up and wouldn't be able to talk at all and could barely eat because my throat felt so swelled up.. It's gone away for the most part for me though

Thanks man lol Well guys after making that last post about an hour later my throat was killing me and I still could not swallow, it felt even worse than last night. So I called my mom at the hospital, she is an RN and got me in to have a EGD (that’s were they take a scope and go down my esophagus to basically my stomach) If she wouldn’t have done that I would have had to wait till Pittsburgh and that would have been FEB 23. After the test they found my whole upper esophagus was inflamed and my uvula in the back of my throat was so swollen it was laying on my tongue…. So now I’m at home feeling better it’s nothing major and I can start to take care of it with meds.

You sure they said uvula and not vulva? Sorry...I had to. But it's good that it's not a serious problem.

I guess I'm a little late at posting. I went through something of the like not too long ago..my throat was hurting everytime I would swallow or speak. Then again, I go to school and work all day in a job that involves talking talking talking.
I tend to talk a lot, in my free time too. Who would've thought?
