integ ecu
hey a friend of mine has a 2001 integra ecu and he sold in couse he had a chip p28 and a skunk2 converter but now he want to put back a stock gsr ecu and a found one for $75 but its a 96. can the 96 ecu plug up to the 2001?

99+ is obd2b and 96-98 is obd2a
it will not be direct plug-in - needs a harness adapter my advice, just keep looking for another ecu 99+ |

Any obd2 ecu oout of a 97-01 teg should work...

just different pin connections
obd2 has 4 ports for connectors (ABCD) on the ecu 2A: A,C,D 2B: A,B,C |

but basically they are the same internal, no new maps or new sensors or anything of that sort, right ?

but will the 99 si ecu plug right up with it the 01 teg? will the vtec come in? its just for driving around town the p28 burns too much gas. i dont think to butterflies would be toom much of a prob its just for round town and a erlier red line the p28 red lines at 10000rpm

does the p28 have a mugen program in it?
The p2t would work. But I wouldnt want to use it myself. |

yeah the p28 has a mugen program and someone told me that the butterflies on the gsr work off the presser so the 99 SI ecu sould plug up and work. does that sound right?

I was always under the impression they were ecu controlled...but Im in no means the expert on gsr's
