Greddy Turbo Kit

I want to run the 99 - 00 SI Greddy turbo kit on my car. I am assuming everything should bolt in fine. The only question i have is about the fuel management system.

Since my car is OBD I and the Greddy turbo kit is designed for an OBD II car, will i have compatability issues? If i do have "issues" then i think my best (best = cheapest) way to still use the kit is to run an FMU and Missing Link.

What do you guys think?

It will still work even if you just convert the wiring and tap it the way GReddy wants you to tap it on the OBD2. Just wire it to OBD1. Tha is what I did except I wired it from OBD1 to OBD2 on my 99civicEX. What ECU are you using now? P72 OBD1? The missing link and FMU method will work well. I advice not to boost any higher than 8psi with it tho. I dont care what everybody else say. FMU is a "band aid" way to manage fuel. But it will work on low boost and you will feel boost transition. A good set-up is when a car is boosted without the feeling of a boost transition. That is why the AFC "hack" is notorious. It gets rid of that "transition". Goodluck man and dont hesitate to email me if you need answers....

should work fine, the piping may be a lil different, but thats what fabricating is for, the chassis are a lil different. As the previous guy noted, wire the FMU (blue Box) in accordance w/ an OBD1 version. It is preset (wastegate) for 7.9psi. Also I might note the injectors included in the kit are OBD2 so you'll have to notch your plugs or change over your pig-tails to OBD2. Can't remember if they can be notched or not. And I highly recommend an Apexi AFC for broadning the fuel curve if you expect to run more boost. Upgrade that fuel pump also. Good luck.

Just remember that the most effective way to improve your fuel delivery is to enlarge your injectors.
