Worst car-based movie ever?
Aside from the F&F series, which i personally absolutely despise as an artform (even though they're kind've entertaining to watch), whats the worst car based movie you've ever seen?
I picked up a copy of a movie called 'red-lined' last year, and hadn't watched it until now. Absolutely terrible. Think F&F .... but australian .... and much lower budget. On the other hand, if you want a good laugh, I think I got it for like 6 bucks from sam goody or some such place, on dvd at that! Am I the only one who hates the 'image' the media portrays of car enthusiasts as a whole? |

any of the F&F style movies regarding cars/bikes/etc
they need to keep hollywood out of it, they have made these movies so terrible that people who would have watched them were digusted by the redicilous use of unachieveable stunts. |

Haven't seen Biker Boys, but saw Torque... Best part of the movie was the beginning when they were doing the twisties. After that, reality went downhill.
Can't really think of any other bad car-based movies other than F&F.. Good car-chase scenes: Ronin and the BMW chase scene in The Transponder. |

Watch the original '70s version of Gone In 60 Seconds. It's alright...some interesting exotic/one-off cars from the 70's but towards the end you want to fall asleep. Car chases are cool, right? Not when the last 45 fucking minutes (no exaggeration)...and in a '73 Mustang fastback no less. The newer Nick Cage version is leaps and bounds better...and Eleanor...mmmmmmmm...Eleanor.

that movie rekindles my want of a old fastback every time i see it... i almost bought one too. only a 289.. but immaculate the BMW short films are really good. short strange plots, but nice car chases(taken with a grain of salt of course).

It's Hollywood, what else do you expect?! Real life rarely works the way it does in the movies. Quote:
And the movie is called The Transporter. It's one of my favorite movies and I'm obsessed with the star Jason Statham.

days of thunder and that stallon F1 racing movies were both REDICULOUSLY lame...
The stallone one was soo bad I though it was spykids 2 or something when I first turned to it... I only watched it for like 20 seconds though... And as far as the F&F movies being entertaining... I don't know about that... I downloaded the first one to see it at first i thought it was going to be a good movie... then I saw it... I NEVER rented it or the other one EVER... I've only seen the first one on a really bad quality download... that movie was embarrassing to watch... much less be a fan of.
