Drop with springs
i'm thinking of dropping my car with some groundcontroll springs...if i drop 2 inches in front and back so will it hurt anything if i dont get the camber kit? also can i do it myself or should i have someone else do it.....i assume i need a spring compresser
if i do it myself.........also how much would it cost if i had to pay someone to do it? if i drop 2 inches i dont think i'll beable to put 17s on it so i'll prolly go with 16s with 40 series tires....i have about 3 inches of clearence....and with 17s with 40s it makes it about 2 inches or so...they are about an inch taller than my stock wheels and tires.....but i plan on getting rims sometime soon |

Well, it'll hurt your camber, but 2 inches may or may not put you out of spec. If it's bad, you're looking at reduced handling and tire life.
Yes, you need a spring compressor. I borrowed a screw-type one from autozone or murray's or somewhere (free loaner tools). Your springs are small, so using the spring compressor will be easy (just don't point anything toward your face). |

i can change them without a spring compressor, just make sure you don't poit it towards a living thing. i just step on the spring while unscrewing the washers on top
