start my car in drive

would it be bad if I start my car in drive with nothing in front of me of course, to check to see if I can bypass the automatic interlock system so I can start my car when its a manual

also if anyone has any idea how to do this let me know

It's not the best idea... although it's not the worst thing in the world...

to bypass it I'm pretty sure you just jump the connector... although I could be wrong.

it can't hurt, they have you do it at the track if you have an automatic.. have you put it in first, then in reverse to see if it can start
