Eagle1 Nanowax
Initial impression: I dont really like it.
It never really dried to a white, flakey residue, like other waxes do. It was difficult to remove because of that and even after everything was gone, the surface doesnt look that great. Its as if the wax didnt dry. Wiping a towel across sometimes leaves smears on the surface. (Yes, fully dried and wiped down w/ the included micro-fiber towel AND towels of my own) One thing that is kinda neat, yet confusing, is that if you breathe onto your paint, it will fog up like a window. This could be because its ultra smooth. Tomorrow I'll wash my micro-fiber towels, wipe it down again (once-over), and look at it in the sunlight. I'll write another reveiw after that. I hear that the wax only lasts 3weeks max before breaking down, so I also plan to go over it w/ another coat of standard paste turtle wax for protection and longevity. ...Plus Im doing a photoshoot tomorrow night, for myself, and want it to look as shiney as possible. (Oh, I also used some Blue Magic polish on my headlights to remove the yellow residue. Worked excellently; Im very pleased.) |

Zymol is good. Also the new Meguires NXT wax. If u want ur car to be shinny to the point ur paint looks like a mirror id recommend this. Also another thing to use on ur headlights is alumiun and chrome polish like Wenoil or Never Dull from Eagle One. That works awesome on shitty headlights.

i use the NXT wax just for a quick wax. But if i'm doing a real thorough job, then i use the three products that mothers has, they have a cleaner wax, polish, and a carnuba wax (sold seperatley of course:o ) but it looks fuckin awesome.

I still dont like it. It really does NOT mix well w/ other waxes and I had to buff like crazy to get the swirlies out. It really isnt very reflective either. Ive gotten better results w/ cheaper waxes. Overall...very unsatisfied. |

does the manufacturer have a money back guarantee on the stuff? cause you should probably bitch them out and tell them how unsatisfied you are.

i still love the zymol. it's 13/qt but i think it's well worth it. if you follow the instructions step by step the car really comes out nice and shiny. plus the paint will look like 1ft deep.

pretty much. i am really impressed with zymol than anything i tried: eagle one wet shine, maguiers stuff, mothers something. plus you can really feel the body of the car soo smooth. the only downside to it it;s that attracts dust way too easy, but usually i just hose the car and that's it.
anyone tried the new mr clean spotless rinse system ? i might shell out the $20 for it and see if it works

if you guys haven't used zaino polish, i would seriously recommend at least checking out the website... getting your car intially set up for it to work (cut old wax, clay, etc.) is kind of a pain, but once you finish, it's beautiful... especially on black cars.
