Preventative Measures
I was giving my car a good cleaning out yesterday and noticed that there is about a three inch by one inch spot wearing on the driver's seat, presumably where I slide in whenever I drive it. I haven't yet inspected the passenger side.
Anyone have any ideas on how to prevent this from becoming a nasty tear like I see on a lot of older Hondas?? Only thing I can think of is attempting to "plop" into the seat whenever I get in instead of sliding..dunno how well that'd work I want to get my seats reupholstered but I don't know how soon that'll be happening.... Sorry if I'm not placing this post in the right spot... |

Good question. My car is seeing the same wear and tear :\ Infact, you can tell where I rest my elbow on the center console, that is completely worn out. The only thing that I can think of is to get seat covers. That would probably keep it from getting worse.
