cluch problem

hey I just put my trany back on my car, I put a new clutch plate in pu tfor some reason the gears grind when I try to put it into gear, any one have any idea. It sounds like the maybe the prsure plate or something. I don't know. any ideas would help alot , thanks

sounds to me like the cluch cable is missadjusted. readjust that first.

did you replace the throug-out bearing and the pressure plate or just the disk?

hey thanks for the thoughts, My car seems to have fixed it self! I played with some adjustments and with the shifter, it finaly went into gear and all seems to be good,
