You have to leave you stock radio in some how. Like slip it behind the console, or mount you radio somewhere else.
I mounted mine somewhere else.

Yeah you gotta put power, and back-up, along with that entire set of wires from the green connector that WAS connected to the stock unit back to the radio. I put mine under the seat which meant a ton of wire and lengthening and soldering but its out of the way and my keyless works. (I just did this recently). You can get a "Y" connector for your stereo that will power the new unit and the stock. Try Crutchfield.com , you can probably get one there for like $5.

go to Best Buy and get the harness. i replaced the stock radio before with an aftermarket one to keep the keyless entry. then when my aftermarket head unit face piece got stolen, i removed the head unit BUT kept the harness installed, my keyless entry still functions......just gotta have that harness.......peace

I had my stock head unit pushed back and the new head unit placed in front of it , keyless entry works fine. I know that sounds weird with 2 units in there, but iv had no problems. Go to best buy, they can do it for you.

I think instead of putting the old head unit behind the new one, it will be easier to just buy the harness. Good luck
