Parking Lights & Headlights
Boy, I'm posting a lot here! Anyway...
Here is yet another question for brandon, how do get my headlights to operate independently from my parking lights? (90 civic si) [amber light][clear light][HEADLIGHT][HIBEAM]______H______ [HIBEAM][HEADLIGHT][clear light][amber light] This is just for reference. The amber and clear lights both turn on when you turn the light switch on to parking light mode (the small circle) They also stay on with the headlights (the big circle). What I want to do is have the parking light cluster (amber and clear lights) operate indepently from the headlights (ie, the parking cluster can turn on and off at my command, regardless if the headlights are on or not). the hibeams shouldnt factor into this operation. This should be able to be acheived with changing up the wiring to the steering column switch. I just want to know if there is another way WITHOUT disassembling my steering column? ideas? warnings? |
