Dead spot during hard acceleration...
Hi,
I just recently bought a totally stock 94 Accord EX with SOHC VTEC (It is automatic ![]() The question is, do I need to change something to fix this, is it a problem with my motor (90k miles), or am I just imagining all of it? I know very little about non-V8 non-carburated engines, but I'm learning. Little help? Red |

You know what, I get the EXACT same thing between 2-2.5k RPMS. It really makes me mad. I changed plugs, clutch, valve adjustment, blah blah, and I still get that. I don't get a flat spot ~4k though, and after 95 I'm still pulling pretty hard. Basically, the engine is bogging where I get the flat spot.

I have a manual tranny and I'm still getting it... but it might be the case for reddevil.
