The Used (my fav band), Taking back suday(all time fav), My chemical Romance, The honorary Title,
New 2pac (Loyal to the game) and that's about it from off the top of my head.... I think the new Jay z/LP was a big waste... 6 songs... for 12 bucks 2 songs were good thats about it.... I really don't listen to Eminem his stuff gets so old so fast....

How ironic that you made this thread, I've been thinking about this the past few days as I've been intrigued to avoid finals study to DL additional songs. Anyhow, I listen to mostly slow james. Yeah, love songs from Usher to Brian McKnight to Celine Dion. Yeah, I had a feeling most of you are gonna say "aka shit music." I do like rap, to an extent; not that niggAr stuff. I can't stand the hardcore ghetto junk. I also like Linkin Park and such, because I've noticed that they have much better lyrics...OH, and I like Techno/Trance WITH lyrics [mostly female vocals.] For the past 2 years, I've been DL a lot of korean/Japanese pop/slow james like Utada Hikaru / boA.
SO, if anyone listens to what I may like, feel free to drop me a PM, I need more songs to DL! As for the Jayz/Linkin Park: I thought it was good, didn't like 2 songs..and that's why people download rather than purchase.

Recent albums played by Steve...
Miles Davis - "Bitches Brew" (I was in an odd mood) Rise Against - "Siren Songs Of The Counterculture" Gratitude - unreleased stuff from an upcoming album Latyrx - "The Album" Bad Religion - "The Empire Strikes First" Postal Service - "Give Up" (excellent sleepy music) Alkaline Trio - "Good Mourning" Nomeansno w/ Jello Biafra - "The Sky Is Falling And I Want My Mommy Minor Threat - "Complete Discography" Mostly some punk, hardcore, stuff too good to be called "emo", and some seriously abstract jazz. EDIT: I forgot...I've also been listening to Guitar Wolf - "Jet Generation". It's crazy punk noise-billy...FROM JAPAN!!!11!one!

Well "Bitches Brew" is the standard. That's the craziest shit I've ever heard. A friend made me a great CD of seriously abstract jazz but it doesn't list any artists...I'll try to find out.
