Infinity speakers for room

http://www.infinitysystems.com/homea...od=PRIMUS250BK

Picked myself up these puppies and used an old stereo amp to power em. Boy does it sound so much better and I leave it at 3/10th the volume and it sounds louder than full blast from my 4 year old boombox. Great highs on this puppy and decent mid range. All I'm missing is a woofer now and I'll be set more or less (until I decide to go 5/6.1)

Btw...it kicks ass working in Best Buy...mark ups on speakers are crazy.

They're 699 in store 3 year manufacture warranty, I payed 299 with 9 year warranty (best buy's) so if I blow them..I get new ones

btw...just picked this up
http://www.electronichouse.com/default.asp?NodeId=1688

Costs 799 regular...clearance was going for 574...best buy cost is 500 (so if I was to buy it new I'd pay basically ~550)

Special for employees..half of cost. 250!! And for 50 bucks got their warranty again (some stuff it's worth it). Oh boy am I happy! Can't wait to hook it up

This is all before taxes in CAD

At the moment

1 CAD = 0.749535 USD if you want to check how much I got it for in USD.

Well, I hooked it up with the cheap cables for now and it pumps amazing. Such clarity, oh man. It has a nice punch! Going to see how it is with the better wiring.
I'm still not using the full capabilites of this reciever. Need to get a usb sound card with digital out to get better sound. IT also has alot of video options (up conversion etc) so that'll be used when I move out or buy a tv!
