why spend the money
I would realy love a few people to try and explain this to me...
Like a year ago i was into doing alot of mods to my civic. Then i realized that im basically a poor 18 year old whose almost off to college and i cannot afford anything but minor mods. So 1. if you dont have the money do to major mods to make the car truly your own, why bother to spend the money for it? and 2. If you do have that much money then (other than the reason that you get satisfaction out of working on your car which i understand) why dont you save it and spend it frankly on a car that most would consider a better car than a honda or acura. Granted this might not apply if you are loaded and ur car isnt a daily driver that u are modding. And im not trying to bash hondas or anything b/c hell i drive one. Im just curious. |

^very true. This hobby attracts a lot of young people and I see more and more parents dont mind helping out on mod expenses. I have came to a conclusion that parents would rather see their ricer brats spend money to a personal project car vice drugs and hanging out street thugs.

Hope you've got your flamesuit activated CivicFrenzy
Simple answer is... hondas are cheap to buy and cheap to mod. Easier for broke teenagers to get them and because some people enjoy modding their cars, it is easier for them to mod their cars. Not everyone can spend 3k+ on a good turbo setup; people just like to add personal touches here and there so their car feels more personal, unlike every other car on the road...
