How much?
I'd rather have RWD and a decent looking car, but to each his own. I have yet to drive the new Accords. Can you get it with LSD? b |

stefan- I really like the two. I was researching them and i stumbled onto a thread about the 04s with the navi. The navi works with the dual climat control. Now when i first read that i was bah big deal. But then i read further and found out what that actually means and it means the navi will take into account the postion of the sun in refernce to the car, so if your driving and the sun is blaring down on you the navi will see that you are in direct sunlight and turn the a/c up higher to compsate for the sun. |

If you just want teh accord for 2 years, look into leasing... could save you money on the long run. You won't be paying interest on a car note and you won't deal with depreciation...

Well, you do get hit with depreciation in a lease, it's just calculated completely differently.
And how in the world would your insurance cost you $4000 for 6 months? I don't know how anyone can possibly get to rates of $8000/year unless they have something real special in the garage. |

Leasing is a wasted of money!
Pay everything in your car is better! I would rather to pay everything for the another car. |

I really like my Accord. I have the sedan, not the coupe, but it is really comfortable, and I drive a lot. It has all the nice features that I was looking for in a car, and I did consider a car similar to what you were also looking at. I considered getting an A4, but couldn't justify in my mind the extra cost for a slightly smaller car even with Quattro (I wanted the 3.0, not the 1.8t).
I don't regret my decision. Paul - leasing is a good option for some people who don't necessarily drive a lot and like to turn their car in after 2-3 years. I believe it can also work out well if it is your primary car and you own your own business, but you would have to check with an accountant on that. |

Yeah I'd take the IS300 over the Accord or S4 any day. The only reason I'd take it over the S4 is reliability, Audi still has a ways to go to really match other manufacturers' reliability numbers. I'm surprised to hear your insurance would be that much higher for the IS300 vs. an Accord, that sounds kinda fishy. Have you shopped around much? 2 year turnaround is pretty quick on a car, as already mentioned I'd watch out for TCO issues. A house is definitely a better investment than a car, so that's a good choice for priority. b |
