although i dont believe that walking out of hs for peace is a good idea, without standing up for what you believe in, then why live in america?

Its real funny that its always students who are protesting war(being told what to do by their teachers who still think they're hippies) whether it be HS or college. Yet these are the same idiots that start riots when their team wins a big game, alot of times resulting in mass destruction, injuries, rape or even death.
"Give peace a chance!!! Oh shit our team won the championship, lets go **** some shit up." You think anyone gives a crap what they think. And oh yeah, how convient that these protests are during school. Last edited by AzCivic : 03-06-2003 at 11:16 AM. |

Yeah, when I was in HS there used to be walk outs and I could not even tell you what they were for but I knew that they never changed a damn thing. I would always walk out too. But not becuase I was trying to protest. But because I knew that when I finally got home my parents wouldn't be as pissed knowing that hundreds of other kids did it. I wouldn't stand out in front of the school and yell. My friends and I would just take off and go to the beach or what-have-you.

We have had only one walkout since i have been in school and it was my freshman year. We had a bball game and it was the last one to play and descide if we go to state, well 2 of the best players on the team desicded to use a teachers video camera for a project but they otherwise tapped themselfs mooning the camera and had a bunch of other crap on it. so that day of the game we all walked out and it was funny the school had no control over us till the PO PO's came and hauled us back in.. Stupid Pigs
