Help
alright, everyone seems to have a difference of opinion on "rice".... sorry if this has been posted before.. but what do you consider rice is? whats your definition of rice?

I'm gonna be puttin' a CF VIS Invader hood on my black 94 del Sol DOHC VTEC. Is that rice?
Also, anyone have the clear corners on there? Look good? I was thinkin' of some new tails too. |

well i dont think that a cf hood is rice.. but its all in the opinion of the individual... as for me.. i like cf hoods, clears, no overly aggresive body kits, and even some altezzas
but then again.. from all the stuff you people have posted, it would seem that alot of honda style members are drivin riced cars |

Do what you want, F^ck what everyone else thinks. As long as you like it then its cool. I personally am sick of hearing about rice this and rice that. It would be different if there was an actual term in the dictionary that discribed rice as a car. But everyones idea of what rice is, is so scewed its not even worth talking about.
I dont like a lot of things that people do to thier cars, but thats thier problem not mine. BTW... The rice in my name stands for all cars made by japanese automakers.

I don't even mind really. I live with some friends who are big VW guys. For a while it was my old CRX Si and the other 3 guys had mk2 GTIs. Now we're down to 2 GTIs only one on the road. One guy traded his in and got a truck for work. (Chevy
 ) The other took it off the road and now has a couple CRXs, though they'll be gone soon. And the other is still driving his, but only because he's waiting for the out of state title transfer. (Anyone from Jersey knows what I'm talkin' about.) The title transfer is for a pimped 93 Sol from Florida. They used to make fun of my "rice" but I just said they were kraut burners or some stupid BS. Now they drive rice. It's great. |

I don't really think rice has a definition...it's just a way for "non-ricers" to put down "ricers"
