Have you noticed that when a spoiler is installed by the dealership it's more forward? personally i think it looks ugly...when i got mine installed i had them line up with the rear lights....let me know what u think...

the spoiler is supposed to be mounted using the 4 little bumps on the inside of the trunk; theyre like screw guides. Thats why they're all mounted where they are. Its stronger at those points too ...not that it really needs to be...a spoiler weights what like 5lbs tops...that is if you dont mount a leer jet wing Why the mounting points are where they are is probably just because not everyone wants that aggressive look and the location of the points is for a "clean" look...I dont know...

like those fins that are mounted under the bumper like wings that poke out of the side near the fenders?

Well I think it looks clean where i had it installed. I had them install it as far back as possible not like the dealership. The dealership installs them like 2 fingers in from the top of the trunk...making the curve part of the wing line up with the top of the trunk....mine lines up with the light which i like way better!

most spoilers have no purpose. basically they are for show unless you have some serious power and speed, then it has a purpose. so its basically a show thing. mine is pretty big but it will look better once the body kit is on and the wing is painted to match. you just have to know what looks best on what cars. in my case i got an APR GT2 knock off. after i get my avenger kit or whatever it will look pretty clean
