Dropping a 2001 Accord Coupe V6
What sup peeps. I need info and maybe some pic on how will I drop my accord. Will it look good with 19" rims and how low should I drop it. I want to maintain a decent ride around the city.
thanks |

19" on an accord ? get real man. the accord is known for being such a slow car, and very hard to accelerate, but with 19" rims it will take forever. plus a 19" rim will require a very low profile tire, which will make your ride very crappy. Go with 17" rims and a bigger tire profile, so your ride quality won't suffer that much. For a drop i reccomend kony yellows with eibach sportlines (1.7" drop) or prokits (1.2" drop).

17s with Prokits are the best IMO for an Accord V6.

i guess you voted for the 1.5 drop. prokits offer only a 1.2" drop.

It's a V6, not a torque-starved I4. He'd be fine with 19s. IMHO, 17" looks a bit small on 6th gens. I'd get 18's with 40 series tires.

On a 6th gen, I'd go with 18s if you don't care too much about speed. You'll need at least a 1.5" drop to look good.

You don't have the prokit option of 1.2 so I voted for a 1 in. drop. Should look tight with that.

ummm 17's on a 6th gen look like crap.. you have to go at least 18 but even then it still looks too small.... 19's will do you fine but tires are gonna cost you a pretty penny... i say go for it.. once you get those drop the car about 1.5 - 2"..... it'll look safe... better way to go is get coils so you can play around with it until you like the height
