I Got Leather Gsr Seats!!!!
HOLY CRAP...
Picks Added Below I'm soo happy right now... I just got front and rear 2dr 2000 GSR leather seats... For 300 bucks. They're REALLY clean and in great shape. Got the adjusters for the lower section of the seat too... Now I gotta get a rug dash and cluster and the interior will be mint. I may just mend my carpet for now while the seats are out. Picks Added Below

Yeah I'm all giddy and crap... I almost thought about not getting them but I've been looking at them since I got the civic and I saw this guy selling them pick up only an hour plus away for such a dirt cheap price... I said F it and went up there.
I'll probobly get pics in the next day or two... Oh and he had a hatch with a SICK engine that he just bought from someone else and is working on... that thing is gunna be sick. It's a crvtec with a build bottom end and a CTR head with freaking cams and all this other crap... thing was pretty nasty lookin.

They are UNREAL comfortable, supportive, NICE...
I can't even explain how much I hate my civic seats... these things are freaking AWESOME... They really hold you in and are SUPER comfortable. I put in the fronts last night... the rears are going to either be a major headache or impossible. I guess they'd go into a hatch real easy but not to a coupe... I'm not even sure I'll be able to rig them or not... I've gotta spend some time thinking and searching what other people have done. But HELL YEAH these things are freaking awesome... I'll take pics in a couple days... I didn't have my camera last night when I did them. Took it for a drive and it was night and day between the old seats and these... I actually don't like the leather as it's a little too slippery... but they're crazy supportive and they're the 2000 gsr's so they have adjustable lower section too. and lumbar (only on the drivers side for both). Only problem I ran into was the dude failed to tell me there were not seat belt recepticals and the civic bolts are a different size so luckily my buddies shop has a pretty full bolt drawer and I finally found something that would work... Gunna order the bolts and then get them all set. As far as the rears I think I may be able to make some sort of adaptar to make the uppers fit... although they won't be perfect... the lower rear is WAY too small... there are like 2" gaps on either side of it. Also the front seats sit a good deal higher than the civic seats... which is nice and bad at the same time... it gives you a more commanding view of the road but it also makes you feel like your sitting much higher which I don't like. Overall I'm ready to piss myself I'm soo psyched. It's funny though I almost don't like the way they look in the car... they're too dark... but I'm sure I'll get used to it. And it truly highlights what a sh!tbox the car is otherwise... it needs soo much work I'm probobly a total dumbass for not just selling the car... but I know I'll end up buying another POS that needs tons of work if I do sell this one. Now I've got a boner for a GSR dash/Cluster swap and a JDM ITR non-airbag steering wheel... the cockpit would be much more encompassing like that which is the only thing I love about my subaru... how you feel surrounded and everything is well placed. Thats not going to happen for a long time though barring any lotto winnings or REDICULOUS deals. Oh PDiggs, I'd recomend the del sol seats... apparently they sit LOWER than the stock seats not higher... and they're supposed to be VERY comfortable and supportive.

yeah I never remembered hearing that the teg seats sat soo much higher...
Also they're narrower than the stock seats which works out GREAT for me since I have a custom center console which the old seats rubbed on...

Congrats! It's always nice to be so happy isn't it!? I have the usdm del sol seats and the jdm del sol seats and I still like my room mates GSR leather seats more. Then again, I need the lift with my lack of height but as far as comfort goes, I like the clothe del sol seats.

well from what I can see playing with the rears (tee hee) a little today they're not going to fit well... I'm gunna sell them and try to get my factory rear seats wrapped in leather...
The uppers are 2" too wide to fit... and the lower is way too short and 2" too narrow... IE they sit really low and the sides don't meet the interior panels. I might try to track down a 4dr teg rear upper part and try to make the lower fit... If I cut my stock rear foam up and glued the teg ones on top it could come out looking good... but I might end up messing up two seat cushins... I'm not sure I don't think I'll be doing anything too soon anyway.

Thanks...
Yeah it's funny too I have an 05 legacy and my favorite thing about it were the seats... Now I think they suck compared to the teg seats... The teg seats are REALLY nice... the lower bolsters could be a bit higher but overall they're great.
