ME vs a Grand Am SE
Well not to exciting..but my freind at work has this new Grand AM..and i wanted to see how fast it was...so at lunch we both went out to race....we pull up to the red..first race..i lauched at about 3000...took him by about a car lenght or 2.... second race..neutral drop (i know its bad.. ) same results....lol THird race he still says he can win..no drop or launch just stomp on it...chirp....gone 2 car lenghts this time or more..were both auto....what really puzzled me is that he said a few days later he looked on the net to find out his car specs for and it said he has 170 horse? i was like what?? i dont think so...is this true? his is the 99 or 2000 or something i know its 99+ (year) version..

i'd start by checking the mounts for the engine and tranny, and an oil change right away

My guess would be: having the car in neutral at the light in order to rev the engine to the desired RPM and then throwing it into drive on green. But then again thats just a guess. |
