Carry on with life without changing a thing in my daily routine. I will not let terrorist disrupt my life or change the way I do things. Don't get me wrong, I am not letting their deaths go in vain, I feel for those who have fallen and the families. But fo real, I am not going to live in fear.

as far as I'm concerned it happened, it's done with, it's over. I feel for the people who it affected but everyone needs to get over it and move on. Things happen that you can't control and it will always be that way move on, don't take life for granted

uhh...the us goes to war because we have to. we kill enemies...for a reason. we don't go around killing random people just because they think differently. do you know how long it took to get saddam's ass out of the country? clinton had the chance when he was in office...but he backed out like a b*tch. |

maybe in your eyes we stuck out noses in places we dont belong but obviously you dont have a clue on what goes on outside of the US and how uprising and disputes can eventually lead to national security issues. to keep this short and sweet you need to thank god that the US intervened when they did cause your sorry ass most likely would be here along with everyone else that thinks we should just sit back and do nothing. |

uhh...the us goes to war because we have to. Wrong...we don't HAVE to do anything. There was a time and place for what we're doing (if revenge is your thing), but it's passed and we need to mind our own business we kill enemies...for a reason. Right...because of threats that are either real or percieved with no distinction between the two. And those reasons may not be yours but they are still carried out in your name we don't go around killing random people just because they think differently. Actually, we do. They think we're immoral and greedy and throw values to the wind in the name of capitalism...and they're right. Now that's no reason to want to destroy us, but they're still right. Oh, and that whole invading their holylands thing...they weren't too happy about that. do you know how long it took to get saddam's ass out of the country? Roughly 20 years...could've been more. That tells you how high on our priority list he was until it became blatantly obvious we couldn't find Osama. clinton had the chance when he was in office...but he backed out like a b*tch. Hey, no arguement here...but why did HE have to be the one to do it? There were...what...3 previous presidents who had the chance? Furthermore, why is it any of our business who rules other countries? Bottom line is that you guys can all go round and round about this and none of you is right or wrong. It's ALL IN YOUR F@CKING HEAD. I say one thing, you disagree, and nobody's mind gets changed. Just please don't pretend we're a beacon of morality. As for observance of 9/11 (the original topic of this thread as some of you may remember), I haven't really done anything differently besides reflect on the memories I have of that day. Not because if I don't the terrorists have won (that's sooooo much bullshit) and not because the world is out to get us and if I let my guard down for a second it's all over (hate to tell ya...in the grand scheme of things none of us are that important)...but because nothing is to be gained by dwelling. So you remember, reflect, show a little compassion, and move on. That's what...5 minutes of your day?

well... i feel sorrow for those who died and their families, but im not going to live in fear. if we are afraid of them, they win. they cannot beat us, they can ONLY make us live in fear. if we live in fear, then what they wanted has been accomplished. they hate our aditude and our culture, if they can change the way we live, then how strong are we?
i godda goto class.... get this heated up and i'll rant for a while in 3 hours or so
