Antivirus Software - What to get?
Hey guys, I need some new antivirus software, and I was wondering what you guys use. I used McAfee in the past, but I was wondering if Norton or something else would be better.
Thanks

yeah, Norton is the better alternative altogh it finds some viruses and cannot do anything about it, but mcafee is not even detecting the new viruses.

Cool, I just found a thing on the net - there's a $30 rebate on Norton system works on the box and an additional $20 rebate through the mail, so I can get it for free

Take advise from a guy with experience, PC CILLIN is the best, hands down. Most friendly user interface, real time scanning, updates automatically. Its saved my ass a bunch of times, i used to have mcafee viruscanner, it was alright but it doenst compare to pc cillin, that goes for nortan antivirus also. If you want it just email me.

Well if you partition your hd and find out that you need to reformat, you can always do so and have all your important files on the other drive. Pc cillin updates automatically and its always running in the background, its very reliable and i wouldnt use any other.
