Damn all you people!! I just look at a crumb and I gain five pounds. hehe

Of course your salad isn't going to be healthy if you load a ton of dressing on it. That defeats the whole purpose. It's best to have your dressing on the side and then just dip your fork in it before a helping of salad. And even though ice burg lettuce looks and tastes good, you get more nutrition from the darker stuff.

^ I'm the same way. Lost 20+ lbs as of late though just by changing the way i eat.

As for the salad, it can be good for you if you use the right dressing. A no fat or low fat ranch works, italian usually isn't that bad, a light oil and viniger, etc.... Just pay attention to what you're eating.

I lost 60 lbs, eating salads and subway. The key is to ask for low/no fat dressings. Reguardless of the fat count, most salads are easier to digest and there are a lot more nutrients in a Salad then there is in a Hamburger.

Of coarse, exercise is required as well.

Good for you..
Yeah I was always skinny...then I started drinking and eating shitty, and I always ate really good and was really healty. Then my life chaged a little, but now I'm back to normal...i'm at the gym about 5-6 days a week (except for this one...I've been in the garage doing the swap). And I lost some weight and am putting on muscle...and I gotta say..i look pretty good....

I eat whatever the hell I want. I used to work at McD's for 3 yrs or so and actually lost like 20lbs while working there. All I ate were double cheeseburgers, cinnamon rolls, ice cream, and cheese fries. Ah good times for the arteries!!!:o

But I've kept all that weight off since then, and it turns out I'm acutally underweight for my height. I used to go to the gym, but it got too expensive for me, and now I do nothing but work, and over the summer I ride my bike on some trails.

As for the salads....I hate dressings/sauces...so my salads are always fairly healthy for me.

Unfortunately not everyone has the luxury of eating whatever they want. I know if I really let myself go, I would definitely pack on the pounds. I would love to lose about 15-20 pounds, but it's so gosh darn hard!

Eating right isn't hard at all...it's just so easy not to. I used to be able to eat whatever the hell I wanted and I'd still lose weight. I'm 6'4" and at one point I weighed 155lbs eating fast food like 3 or 4 times a week (that was steady for about 2 or 3 years). Then I discovered beer. Hehe. Over the past couple years I've gotten up to a much healthier 200lbs but I suppose I could stand to lose a few pounds.

I dont lift heavy when I lift, I consentrate more on form. I dont really care about being big as much as Id rather be leaner. Eating healthy, is terribly hard for me. Im a junk food junky. I tell everyone Im a fat man, stuck in a skinny mans body. The biggest thing is self control. You just have to fight the urges as much as possible. After a while it becomes a little easier.

One thing to remember is to eat small amounts 5,6, or even 7 times a day. It really does help. Also, drink a lot of water. When your body wants water it will make you feel hungry. Water can actually get rid of hunger pains a lot of the time. Another important thing is try not to eat past 6:00 in the evening.
