basic question about preludes...

i'm looking out of curiousity (and a friend has a 98) at a 99 prelude sh and was wondering what the exact difference is between the base and sh model. i did a search and all i saw was atts, and i have no idea what that is. thanks for humoring a person new to these cars.

The ATTS stands for Active Torque Transfer System. Basically, when cornering, the tranny puts more power to the outside wheel to improve turning.

SH means sport handling....that's the only difference. It has upgraded shocks and springs and a skirt package, but the motor is identical.

no, think about what wheels have to spin more in a corner... its the outer ones, they cover more ground. putting power to those wheels (well.... wheel) causes the car to be flug around the corner.
