Turbo/Super for 93 Accord?
Hey again, guys Thanks for the info on doing I/H/E for my 93 accord's F22A, which I plan to do, but frankly I'd like a little more power . Does anyone make turbo or at the very least superchargers for my engine? So far all I can find is for Civic's. Any links would be appreciated.
I was also wondering if maybe an H22 would be worth the money. Any ideas of cost and pro's/con's? Thanks again. |

turbo on an f22 ? i think the engine is too weak for it, and there won't be too much power gains from it since the engine makes a blazing 125hp. the most you can boost will be a 8.5 psi, without a rebuid. the h22 is the better way to go and then the turbo.
as far as i know f-max makes a turbo kit for our cars thou but it's extremely overpiced like 4g or so.

Thanks for the info. Any ideas on what the cost of an h22 would be and where I could go about getting one? Should I do that before getting I/H/E? Is the h22 vtec or can I get vtec for it?

Hey!
The cheapest way to get an h22, would probably be thru a specialy website.. Such as jdm1.com... If you do a search on this board, you'll find some other sites.. Install should be somewhere around 700$. Its a vtec engine. Redline is at 7200 rpm (So that you dont burn too much gas!! *inside joke*).. If you're planning on doing a swap, dont waste any money on any bolt-ons.. Cause even if you do, once you get the engine, certain parts wont fit.

like accord man said www.jdm1.com will have a h22 for 2300 (complete swap: engine, tranny, ecu and harness). none of the bolt ons will fit so save ur money, get the swap and then mod the engine.

Exactly... I think the AEM CAI will still fit though, so that might be a good first mod.
