ye olde civic

hi ppl i managed to get hold of a honda civic coupe, 95 reg. it has a d15b7 in i think, its non vtec. However i need more get up and go. i was thinkin about a b16a2 or 3 transplant but since i have no vtec installed, would it be easier to put in a b18 engine? since some off them dont have vtec?

b18's...some meaning 1 of them?
It would be easier, because you wouldnt have to run like 4 extra wires, yes. But doing that isnt hard. You just run them from the component to the ecu

you have to run the wires from the physical items (ie- solenoid) to the ecu. Like wiring an amp...only kinda different.
The b16 would be easier just because you dont need to wire the 2ndary butterfly crap or run another wire set for the baro sensor...plus knock and vtec
