the thing with north and south korea is if north korea looks like its going to do something, we'll stock south korea, then china helps out north korea, then we threaten china to take their arms out of n. korea which they will do the same to us. im not nearly as concerned about the koreas as i would be about the mid-east. up in n. korea there is at least a structured form of government that we could attack and take out, where in the mid east its just kinda well... we can wipe out these 1500 sq. miles and everything that lives on it but its not going to stop any of the people over there on that side of the river. besides if we get into it with n. korea, we will at least have s. korea to be our front line and the U.S military will be mostly around for the large scale attacks where we are needed.

That's the only time I've ever heard "only" and "nuclear" used in the same sentence. Hehe. But you're right...their military is nothing to write home about. All we'd have to do is take out Pyongyang (North Korea's capital, before anyone asks) and South Korea would be good to go...assuming that North Korea didn't get off a nuke before hand. They might have them...they might not. It's not really something I'd like to chance. Also, is it just me, or does this seem a lot like the Gulf of Tonkan incident that led to the Vietnam war? A couple of boats shooting at each other, both claiming they were in the right?
