I need Bonsai tree help

Alright...maybe there are some tree/plant people here that can help...

My bonsai tree seems to be dying (sad, yes) but whats really strange is that the outter branches are thriving (bright green, healthy, moist) where the smaller branches off the main trunk are dry and break off just by touching them...

I need arborist help!

Sounds like it may be bacterial. I'd have it looked at by a gardener or something of the sort.

Mostly it sits on the kitchen counter (its still quite small) and the sun hits it for around 4hrs a day. Sometimes when its really cloudy I try to keep it closer to the patio doors so it gets more light.
Ive kept this same sun-shedule for as long as Ive had it...and now its starting to act up.

Did you try looking here? Are you following these exact instructions? Maybe you're not pruning it right? not sure really

Maybe pruning. Are the branches getting sunlight evenly? Also what kind of water are you using to water it? If you are using tap water you will want to check the ph (I just use bottled drinking water to water my plants, its a little more expensive but I don't like dealing with the extra bs of ph kits). Also what kind of fertilizer if any are you using? Unfortunately I don't remember what the numbers mean but when it has the numbers on the bag or whatever (xx-xx-xx) a higher or lower number of those may help you out. Finding out what they mean should be easy enough. You could also have mites on it. There's lots of things out there that can take care of mites. Other than that I can't think of much else that it could be or to help it off the top of my head.
