new exorcist movie

this movie was awful.i almost fell asleep watching it. the original is the best and they need to stop trying to make sequals or prequals to it.If you havent seen this flick yet, DON'T! its a waste of money IMO.

I'll probably see it...heard some decent things about it. But then again I gave up on horror movies being good a long time ago and now watch them so I can make fun of them...which is still good.

Haha I knew it, some customer at work was trying to tell me it was better than the original.

I saw it too and I was TOTALLY pumped about it since I heard it was coming out. I got there, saw it, and left apologizing to my company for making them go see it when they didn't want to in the 1st place

It was awful. You are right-they need to stop trying to re-do things and be better. Not sure ANYONE will ever touch the first exorcist.

Sidebar-I was totally expecting it to be the child b/c wasn't that the original deal? That it was a BOY that was possessed and the original exorcist just made it a girl for some reason?

In my world, there's no such thing as "too gory".

Well...I haven't seen the movie, but I'm sure I'd find it amusing.
