not to be bad mouthing any one but I got some thing to say/ ask all the other girls here, My boyfriend says that there was and article on a girl named Julia Tan and the article claimed that she she was one of the first girls to break into the import scene and that she is a leader for girls in the import scene, first off she is younger than myself, and second the only differences between her and any of us other girls is that she has money and a boyfriend that has lots of hookups. I dont thing being able to pay someone to do everything for you makes you a leader instead a follower.....just my 2 cents ...what do ya'll think?

i agree, youre not really acomplishing anything if its all handed to you. thats not original or earning your respect for what you do. thats having it handed to you and not even having to try, wich isnt what i personally find inspiring as a female.. lotsa girls have everything handed to them... big whoop... do it yourself then you deserve the recognition.

I agree completly with both of u! I got a good deal on my car...and not to sound like a Snobby jerk.... but it was becuz i talked to people.... and i got the hook-ups, not my boyfriend. I think that its kinda dumb that they put things like that arround. I know some real chicks that could easily be put in there... becuz they worked there booties off for it.... and deserve it....that's my opinion!

and what exactly does she say gives her the right to claim herself as a leader for us girls? i mean, how long has she been doing this? and how does she know she was one of the first ones if she's still young? i agree with you girls, she doesn't deserve the recognition if she didn't really work hard for it. hook ups are great, c'mon, we all know they are

but if that's how she got all her stuff, then how can we call her a leader if she really didn't work hard for any of it??

Well, what are ya gonna do.....actually that girl who clamed to be the first girl racer just totally made an ass of herself cause ALL the racer girlz out there know that she is was not the first to break the import scene for us......We all know the truth.......shit, we were all driving before here anywayz....so what the hell does she know!!!

I was at the pro shop I always go to yesterday, picking up some stuff. I started talking to this girl there, she was a total knockout. We started talking about her car and she knew EVERYTHING about it. This guy "friend" of her's standing there was like "She dos everything herself." She was telling me how she took the trany apart to fix a pulley, in shop class and how she put her intake and cat-back exhaust on it. I was like

It's the FIRST girl/chick/hottie that I have ever talked to who knew MORE that how to start the car, and check the oil. I wish there was more chick's like that. She was only like 18 but still, it was nice to talk to a chick who had ANY idea of what was what.

Just my .02 cents.
