Well i Slide the bike

i was driving around my neighborhood on my bike and i hit a spot in the road with a lot of soft sand( they are building houses everywhere so there is mortor sand) and i gave it more gas at the same time and the bike started fishtailing kind of,a nd being a dumbass i was i put my feet dwon and held the clutch (going about 25) and the bike cause me to do a split and decided that it needed to get all scratched up, so im in the middle of emptying the tank and tearing it down to repaint, i just have to decide on a color, im thinking f50 red!

Maybe it was just good reasoning to have it repainted.

Good luck with the paint! I say Pink.

Yup...there are two kinds of riders in this world

The ones who have went down. And the ones who are going down.

I think you have learned a very valuable lesson here. Never underestimate the bike. It'll get away on you before you even know it's gone. Glad your ok though. But at least you went down..and know it probabaly hurts and learn from your mistake.

This is the reason we tell people to start small on a naked bike. You just never know when the hell your going to come across something.

Sorry to hear about your spill though, it definately sucks.

Did you learn anything from it? What should you have done?
