bring on the heat

well i'm not sure what kind of weather the rest of you are dealing with in your home town. Up here in the T.O. (aka toronto, canada) its getting around 100f with the heat/humidex. On sunday i was going to go for a ride in the afternoon but it was 101 in the shade. So i decided to go for a run around 6pm before i went out for a bit.

well needless to say it wasn't much cooler then, i almost died! I went out after trying to take a cold shower but even the water is getting warm, and i had it all the way over to cold. Then later that night i decided to go for a ride on my new bike (yes i have it all built up ) well @12am it was still like 90f or so. Its been raining but not cooling off.

any of you in a heat wave?

ps: sorry about the rant just the heat is getting to me and oh to many people drive!

I'm living on the coast of Oregon where it doesn't get too hot, but when I just traveled down south, the temps hit 110+ in places. Way too hot.

Ah memphis is hot as anything too... its been quite pleasant this summer, with temps in low 90s and heat index only high90s, low100s. Normally it is high 90s/low 100s with heat index of 115 or so... oh well Im glad its not that hot, cause when it gets that hot many underprivledged eldery people (Im being PC) die of heat exhaustion and other heat-related problems. Thats so sad, I wish I could help them stay cool. Glad summer is milder down here!

Yeah its been hot as hell in Ohio. We finally got some rain which just made it humid as hell.

I was just down in Gatlinburg, TN and it was hot as a mofo. Hot & humid. I think just baout everywhere is experiencing a bit of a heat wave.

Heat wave? welcome to everyday here :P
well at least it's usually not humid, though now that we're in monsoon season the humidity gets unbearable when a storm hits...:o
