How many true gear heads are there?
Ok guys and gals we all konw how well you can talk and type on here about how great your car is and how much you know. But I wanna know something. Name the last thing you have done to your car, or someone elses car.
Since I started this thread I will start. I changed the Axle on my girl friends accord and I am changing the tranny soon. There ya go. Lets hear your stories all you keyboard mechanics. I don't wanna hear I installed a spark plug. Ok so here's another. I pulled the motor out of a mustang and changed the whole front steering assembly because it was seized up and the powersteering pump couldn't turn it.

i do not consider a myself a true gear. for the last thing done on my i would say pout the AEM cai in, and the bpv. i used to do the brakes on my own, changed the radiator. that's it for my car, plus i have 3 rebuilds under my belt. ohh let's not forget the spark plugs

completed my fourth engine swap. and swapped out my twin turboes for a single turbo conversion!!!

I replaced my clutch, put a turbo in a friend's EG, and swapped camshafts in a friend's GS-R.
And I put my own shift knob in. |

last night swapped out my boys cam gears in his ITR. and i'm learning how to port and polish heads by hand.

um, im yanking my axles out this week, im installing a header on a civic, i just installed my nitrouse, im thinking(looking over manuals) about installing a flywheel, i'd change my own cams. ive done countless suspension changes, i change my own brakes/rotors etc.
