Im 17 too... gotta wait til next May to turn 18... and driving 30-40 over *can* be safe, but only in little to no traffic in little populated areas... traffic flow here is about 20mph on average on the interstate... 75 in 55 really isnt bad, and it isnt uncommon that many people go 85+... Ive gotten a speeding ticket for 61 in 40, a BS rolling stop ticket two doors from my house while I was on the way home LATE at night, and a one month overdue registration ticket

... the thingy was in the mail too... oh well... just be careful and keep the speeds near traffic flow
