Jeremy...it's because we're the exact opposite of Europeans in that regard. When I was in Germany I noticed that you can see nudity on regular network television (not like porn, but it's certainly there), but there's little to no violence. The opposite goes for America. You can see as much violence as you want, but next to nothing when it comes to nudity. Personally I think the Europeans got it right.

And why hasn't the media explored any links between what happened and the medication this guy was on? Prozac (and other SSRIs and tricyclics) have a pretty well documented history of making people lose it. Eric Harris and Dylan Kliebold (Columbine), Kip Kinkel (school shooter), Mark David Chapman (assassin), and others were all on anti-depressants before they snapped and killed or tried to kill people.
