I would stil monitor everything closely (all hoses, coolant level/color(oil?)) just incase its not normal. if you really want to be safe, pull the thermostat, and replace(if its been in there a while, this may be a key sign to check and replace, sometimes the spring sticks(and sometimes welds itself open/shut) depending on where the spring was damaged) and could cause failure.)
