FIT Shopping
So I'm bringing this into my very own thread from this thread.....
So I have 3 choices to go look at. None of them Sport models. And it seems that all the Sport models coming in are automatics. What the hell.... 1 is a base MT, 1 is a base AT, and 1 is a base MT stickered at $18,300  . That one has some 'upgrades' from what the salesman said.So I think I'm going to go look at the base AT that's near my house because I don't feel like driving way out to go look at a car I won't buy (don't like the base looks). I'm sure the AT is going to feel nice & sluggish. But I really just want to see what the inside is is liek spacewise. I'll report back.... ps - found this nice looking fit. simple, yet nice

I want one pretty damn bad, and I still have yet to drive one.
The interiors are kinda cheap...the seats are worse than stock EKs. The shift knob is shitty too, but thats easy to fix. |

Test drove a manual base model today.
The bad: It feels like it's only got 100hp and sounds like it has 130hp. The beige/tan interior is disgusting. Stereo is weak and the head unit isn't replaceable (not easily). Base model looks plain The Good: Drives very easy. Looks small but has a lot of room inside. Inexpensive. Good ride. These apply to the base model. I haven't rode in a sport yet. I assume that will solve of my complaints.

you'll have the same feeling with the sport, since its really only cosmetically different, except the stereo should sound better

Well we'll see what comes around here. There's pretty much no Sport models available in the area. Then again, I'm in no rush. For now.....
