Summer Plans
What’s up everyone! I was just curious, who has summer plans? I’m going to Ocean City Maryland July 12th -17th with all of my good friends.
Also going to buy a 01-03 Honda Civic Si my 99 coupe will finally be paid off! So far that’s about it hopefully more to come…WE NEED TO HAVE A MEET!!!

I'm gonna be trying to ship out for basic training about june, then spend about the rest of the year at various military schools ( basic, infantry, airborne, RIP, ranger school) O_o

I can't believe I am almost done with my first "year" of college. I feel so grown up.
 I think I am going to Vietnam with my family or the Philippines with my boyfriend. I wish I could go to both places but unfortunately I have to work. I think I am gonna notify my employer to cut my hours back..I'd love to work and make some money but my family is so..well, family-oriented. Probably sailing, fishing, and just taking the boat out lots, as always. Oh, and gettin' my car runnin' again!

bah! i know i will be visiting my sister in vegas this summer, but I also wanna plan a bigger trip. Id love to get to ireland somehow but if not maybe somewhere on the east coast.

Whats your job going to be? I still haven't figured out what i want to do yet. I want to do something fun and exciting but if i do decide to get out after my first term i'd like something useful in the civilian job market.
After i figure that out i'll swear in.

Well, you're not a ranger yet...you have to pass through bootcamp and ranger school which is VERY challenging. I'd take that ranger icon from under your name...you gotta earn that man. And good luck getting it. We're both gonna have a tough summer. It's gonna be GREAT!!

I'm workin out quite a bit before i go off to boot camp so i can score 300 on the army physical fitness test by the time i go to boot so i can be in the best shape i can before i start, after that a lot of it's mental.

yeah, i'm gonna be working out with my recruiter to get in shape for bootcamp. To get a perfect score on the PFT i gotta run 3 miles in 18 mins, do 20 pullups, and do 100 sittups in 2 minutes. Before i go i'd like to be able to do atleast 15 pullups and run the 3 miles in about 23-24 mins. The sittups aren't a problem. I'm still troubled about what i'm going to pick for my job though. I want to do something fun and exciting...but something fun and exciting is probably gonna get me sent to Iraq, and i'm not sure if i want to do that. And my mom keeps telling me to pick a job that i can transfer over into the real world. And i know thats probably the best thing to do. eh...i guess i'll figure it out somehow.
