What they are saying is that if you see someone stopped at an intersection you can't tell if they are stopped, causing you to slam on your breaks and someone rear ending you..

This is the STUPIDEST thing I've ever heard.. You should have full control of your vehicle at all times, if you panic and lock your brakes up it is noones fault but your own.. Same goes for animals, etc. "I saw a dog on the side of the road, I couldn't tell if it would run into the road or not so I locked my brakes up..." BULLSHIT! Some people just shouldn't drive.

but you understand me dont you? i mean seriously how many of you look to the wheels for signs of deceleration? wouldn't it make a hell of a lot more sense to determine this by looking at the car as a whole? i would like to beleive that most of our brains can pick tell us whats movie and how fast it is moving

Maybe they figured that people would discover on their own that spinners are the GAYEST thing ever, but decided to help them figure it out instead and outlaw them... But I also think that a triple decker wing 6' wide on a FWD car should be outlawed too..

). Not only are those things the dumbest, most tacky bullshit ever, they could present a problem. Not to your everyday motorist, but what about law enforcement? They get pretty pissed if you don't stop your car immediately. If it looks like your car is still going, you're in deep shit. Besides, the law specifically prohibits them on highways. It doesn't say anything about regular streets.

Regardless of whether they are stupid or not, I can respect them wanting to ban them for good reasons... However, the stuff they had quoted were complete Bullshit excuses.

This follows right along the lines of banning V8s because they use to much gas or old cars because they dont pass emissions.
