Liscense Plates
I've recently noticed that many pople drive their cars without front plates, even thoguh its illegal (in my state anyway). So i was wondering what the laws are in your state, and if you drive with or without it, and if/how many times, you've been pulled over.

well, i think as long as you have a front license plate, maybe inside the cabin pushed up in front of the dash along the front window it is ok. ive been driving without a front license plate forever and no problems at all.

I live in Oregon, and it's illegal to not have a front license plate. I have never been pulled over for driving without one though. The fine is a hefty $400 dollars though.
P.S. esthirteen, way to capitalize those letters after making fun of my punctuation! You stupid f*ck.

No problems so far. I've had my plate off foreever but one nite i had something to drink and slapped it on just to be safe, and its been on ever since.

IA requires it. sons of b*tches. i got mine in my front window on the left side. that is also illegal. here it has to be on the bumper. i havent been pulled over given a fine or nothing yet for it.

Honestly, i thought you were just being a douch bag about it in my post and moking me by not using punctuation. Anyways, wouldn't u be extremely pissed off if you got kicked off the number one dsm forumboard (and u owned a dsm) for not using correct grammar and "breaking the rules", the moderator felt that you "broke" the rules when what you did wasnt breaking the rules according to their rule book.

I live in CT and it's illegal not to display a front LP...
I don't and never have on this car.. I've been pulled over, over 7 times and have NEVER had it mentioned or been fined for it... I think around here it's one of those things that they target for a while ticket some people and then don't think about it when they have cars pulled over... Also most cops approach the car from behind and never walk in front... I don't use one cuz it looks goofy and gives the cops a good surface to use laser off of... so F them.

Saskatooon requires one, unless you own a new car which doesn't have licence plate holes then you don't need one. My Sol requires one, where at my buddies 2003 VW 25th Anniversary doesn't require one.
