the smell of burnt eyeball

ok so it doesnt really have a smell but it HURTS!!

i make the raw dashboard for accords at my job (soon to not be my job) and there are tons of robot welders around and sometimes if the welding tips arent smooth or flat they spray sparks everyhwere......well at 1:30am i was leaving to go home and as soon as i took off my safetyglasses i got blasted in the face but it didnt really hurt till after i woke up later on.....well i got a free trip to the hospital after i got back to work and it took 5 hours plus they let me off for the day and i got payed for it all.......muhaha........but it still hurts like a mother F'er

man i have gotton that from a angle grinder, and a flux core wire feed welder... not fun...

I had a metal sliver in my eye last summer...0.5mm away from maximum pupil dialation. If it was higher, vision woulda been screwed up seriously...so I know what its like for an eye injury.

I waited a day to have it removed (at the time I didnt know what it was) so there was a healthy rust ring around it and that had to be drilled out with this corkscrew lookin thing...not fun.

I did get to wear an eye patch for several days though...and I got liquid antibiotics and went in my eye and after a few minutes...I could taste (weird). Oh, and I painted a skull and cross bones on my patch ala pirates (if I remember I'll post the 1 pic of that)

hehe you little pirate pdiggity. Im sorry that hapened to you! i couldnt imagine not being able to use my eyes! eventhough my dad is completely blind and i know what its like to take care of him i just wouldnt want to not be able to use my eyes:o
