isn't the chassis code a 3 letter ?
my vin starts like this 1hgcb7n6 1st digit- country where the car was manufactured (j-japan, 1-US, 2-Canada) 2nd digit- automaker ( h from honduh) 3rd digit- Vehicle type (g-passanger) 4,5,6th are the cassis code 7'th digit the year
