Well the way that he was talking about it, you would have thought that it changed his whole life around. I guess he's always been really into domestics and didn't know really anything about imports and their mods. He was really impressed with what he saw in the movie in terms of mods and what can be done. So he's now looking to buy an import and do it all up crazy like. I'm not knocking domestics at all. But, it just impresses me so much more to see a little Civic pushing 10s -vs- a Mustang or something. My reason for that is that when you get that Mustang, chances are that thing is going to be wicked fast anyway. There's going to be a lot more time, money and effort to build that Civic so it's pushing those 10s. I'm sure that's also a lot of other peoples trains of thought as well. But I brought that to his attention too. And I also pointed out that in a lot of ways that movie tainted our "world" too. Meaning that it brought out a lot of little posers that put on loud little muffler tips and Altezzas and then whip around like @ssholes and then cause trouble for the rest of us.
