not again..... (AGAIN!!!)

well I have found some really stupid people on ebay lookin for b18c1's
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...&category=1469

it clearly says pictures several times and no where does it say that they are selling an engine...its a little sneaky what the seller is doing but they are being honest...sorta

I have already contacted ebay to have the seller clear it up but it looks like it might be too late...someones gonna be pissed...

oh yeah...and if you look at the sellers other items youll see they also have a H22 pics for sale (people buying into that too) but they do have 1 real engine

No shit they're clueless. Why would someone bid $1k+ on an auction they didn't read carefully. I mean, this auction is an obvious scam.

Hey, good looking out that you inform people.
I'm all about reading the feedback. I got screwed for $100 one time when I sent some @sshole a money order for Altezzas. He never sent them. And EBay didn't do shat about it.

^seriously?? They are liable because they're the "middle man" so to speak... Did you at least file fraud? Something like that happened to a friend of mine when he bought a computer on eGay...when the person didnt send it ebay took matters into their own hands and got the guy to refund 5x the amount of money that my friend paid...

OMFG
I just got an email from one of the people I sent a message to, and they said "Sorry man, if youre trying to scare me and back out so you can bid at a lower price, its not gonna work...the motor will be mine. I suggest you grow up and stop trying to cheat people this way"

WHAT A F*CKING MORON...HE DESERVES TO GET RIPPED OFF!!! I did, however, tell him he should "grow up" and learn how to read auctions...then I promptly told him that he could **** himself and I hope he enjoys his $1500 pictures.

lol, thats pretty funny that he thinks YOU're trying to scam him...what an idiot...
I know it's wrong to scam people like this...but i think it's pretty clever...they make it pretty clear that they're just pictures...

OMG, I cant believe someone is getting ready to pay almost $1700 for pictures.. The sad part is that people are dumb enough to do it!

Yeah, I tried to file fraud and they wanted some whack shit that I didn't have anymore. It was quite some time ago. It was weird stuff. They did not help me at all and I wrote them a nasty e-mail. Not that they really cared or anything but I got to vent.

Damn, that is one hell of a scam. As wrong as it may be, I would love to come up with an idea like that. Prey on stupid people to make a hell of a lot of money. The near definition of American business. Sorry to the dumb ****s that paid $1700 for pictures, though. And pdiddydog, it is nice to see that someone has more ethics than me.
